Abstract

A method of feeding a powder-like fuel mixture to the blast furnace tuyeres comprises periodical charging an overpressurized unloading chamber (8) with the fuel mixture, subsequent and continuous discharging of the latter from that chamber and its transportation, with a gas flow, through pipelines (15) to the tuyeres (16) of the blast furnace. After discharging the powder-like fuel mixture from the unloading chamber (8), an additional gas flow is introduced in each pipeline (15) with a total flow rate which is 3 to 10 times higher than the rate of the main gas flow whereas the product of the total rate of the gas flow in each pipeline (15) into the concentration of the powder-like fuel mixture is maintained equal for all the tuyeres (16).

Un procede d"alimentation en un melange combustible pulverulent de tuyeres de haut fourneau consiste a charger periodiquement une chambre a dechargement sous pression (8) avec le melange de combustible, puis a decharger ce melange de cette chambre et a le transporter, avec un ecoulement gazeux, au travers de pipelines (15) vers les tuyeres (16) du haut fourneau. Apres decharge du melange de combustible pulverulent de la chambre de decharge (8), un ecoulement de gaz d"addition est introduit dans chaque pipeline (15) avec un debit d"addition qui est de trois a dix fois superieur au debit de l"ecoulement de gaz principal, tandis que le produit du debit d"addition de l"ecoulement de gaz dans chaque pipeline (15) dans la concentration du melange de combustible en poudre est maintenue a une valeur egale pour toutes les tuyeres (16).
