Title (EN) ROOFING SHEET AND FOOF CONSTRUCTION COMPRISING OF SUCH SHEETS
(FR) COUVERTURE DE TOITURE ET CONSTRUCTION DE TOIT COMPRENANT CES COUVERTURES
Abstract: front page image
(EN)Roofing sheet (3, 3", 3"" 3"""). The sheet is intended to constitute external roofing, especially in roof constructions for small houses. In known roofing sheets, which preferably shall resemble tiles, boarding is attached densely or sparsely between the upper frames of the rafters. Known roofing sheets, namely, are not capable to bridge the distance between the upper frames. The roofing sheet (3, 3", 3"", 3""") according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises an upper edge (4, 4", 4"", 4"""), which in mounted state of the sheet (3, 3", 3"", 3""") extends perpendicularly to the pitch, and which is shaped to act as a beam, a lower edge (5, 5", 5"", 5"""), which extends in parallel with the upper edge and is formed to overlap the upper beam section (4, 4", 4"", 4""") of an underlying sheet, and that the upper beam section (4, 4", 4"", 4""") and the lower edge (5, 5", 5"", 5""") are connected by groove-shaped portions (7, 7", 7""), which in mounted state of the sheet (3, 3", 3"", 3""") extend in the direction of the pitch.
