(EN)In the method for the separation of mixtures by means of exchange of different phases which, at least partially, circulate in counter current in a closed circuit, a portion (1, 2) of exchange equipment, works at high temperatures or at a high pressure and another portion (3) works at a lower temperature or at a lower pressure. The separation effects are achieved because at least one third of one of the components of the mixtures changes its state during the change of temperature and pressure. The method is particularly appropriate for the separation of methane and argon in a synthesis circuit of an ammonia plant. The usual losses of hydrogen and ammonia are avoided. The method does not require any compressor, high pressure pump, or low temperature plant.
(FR)Dans le procede pour la separation de melanges au moyen d"un echange de differentes phases qui, au moins en partie, circulent en contre-courant dans un circuit ferme, une partie (1, 2) des installations d"echange travaille a hautes temperatures ou a une pression elevee et une autre partie (3) travaille a une temperature plus basse ou a une pression plus basse. Les effets de separation sont atteints par le fait qu"au moins un tiers d"un des composants des melanges change d"etat lors du changement de temperature et de pression. Le procede se prete particulierement a la separation du methane et de l"argon dans un circuit de synthese d"une installation d"ammoniaque. Les pertes habituelles d"hydrogene et d"ammoniaque sont evitees. Le procede n"a pas besoin ni de compresseurs, ni de pompes haute pression, ni d"installations a basse temperatures.
