Abstract

A method of detecting cancer and other abnormalities involves projecting the image of the cervix from the photograph onto a screen (19), viewing the screen from a short distance and noting the abnormalities. Magnified photographs of the cervix are taken utilizing a camera body (11), a telelens (13), an extender (12) connecting the telelens to the camera body, a fiber optic lamp (14) for illuminating the cervix prior to taking the photograph and a flashlight (15) for illuminating the cervix sufficiently to take a suitable photograph.

Un procede de detection du cancer et d'autres anomalies consiste a projeter l'image du col de l'uterus depuis la photographie sur un ecran (19), regarder l'ecran de pres et noter les anomalies. Les photographies agrandies du col sont prises en utilisant une camera (11), un teleobjectif (13), un dispositif d'extension (19) reliant le teleobjectif a la camera, une lampe a fibre optique (14) pour eclairer le col de l'uterus avant de prendre la photographie et un flash (15) pour illuminer le col de maniere suffisante pour prendre une bonne photographie.
