(EN)A nib (7) for a bolt head or nut forming tool, which includes a plurality of small nib pieces (1) as a combination segment nib (2) and with a regular polygonal hole (6) formed therein. The outer periphery of the nib (2) is also formed in a regular polygon and it is inserted into a bush (3) of the same shape for reinforcing the nib (7). A stress absorbing hole (9) is provided at each corner of the inner periphery of the bush (3) or on the outer periphery of the nib (2). Since these holes (9) serve to absorb the concentrated stress applied to the nib pieces (1), the nib (7) so constructed is more difficult to damage than the conventional one. Inasmuch as a machine is thus less frequently stopped to replace the nib (7), it can remarkably enhance the production efficiency.

La peripherie externe de la pointe (2) est egalement formee dans un polygone regulier et elle est inseree dans un manchon (3) ayant la meme forme pour renforcer la pointe (7). Un trou d"absorption des contraintes (9) est amenage a chaque coin de la peripherie interne du manchon (3) ou sur la peripherie externe de la pointe (2). Etant donne que ces trous (9) servent a absorber les contraintes concentrees appliquees sur les elements (1) de la pointe, la pointe (7) de cette construction est plus difficile a abimer que la pointe conventionnelle. Dans la mesure ou une machine est arretee moins frequemment pour changer la pointe (7), cette derniere peut contribuer de maniere sensible a ameliorer la productivite.
