(EN)The device comprises a supply channel (19) through which, by means of a reciprocating load pusher (12), the material carried from the loading tank (1) is fed into the furnace. It comprises sealing devices (5, 9), which prevent an infiltration and/or a leakage of gases into the furnace, respectively out of the furnace. An unloading tank (2) is imparted with a reciprocating motion between an unloading position located above the loading tank (1) and a loading position located at the side of the loading tank (1). The unloading tank (2) is provided at the lower portion thereof with an unloading opening (3) which may be closed and an immersed closure (5) including both the loading opening (4) directed upwardly and the unloading opening (3) of the unloading tank; this closure remains immersed in a barrier liquid (7) including the loading opening (4) directed towards the top of the loading tank (1) not only during the loading of the tank (2) with the material to be processed and during the unloading of the material of the tank (2) through the opening (3), but also during the reciprocating motion of the unloading tank (2) between those two positions. The immersed closure (5) ensures that the inside of the loading tank remains sealingly closed to the environment and that it further acts as safety cap or membrane in the case of explosion.
