(EN)A metallic composition based on metals of group VIII and on nitrides of metals of groups III to VII and a method for its manufacture are characterized in that at least one alloy, which contains at least one metal of group VIII and at least one metal of groups III to VII, is powdered and placed under a nitrogen-containing atmosphere with an excess of nitrogen after which the combustion of the mixture is initiated by setting fire to any local point of the mixture, the excess of nitrogen being maintained up to the end of the reaction. The said metallic composition and the method of its manufacture can be used for making hard alloys based on high-melting compounds.
(FR)Une composition metallique a base de metaux du groupe VIII et de nitrures de metaux des groupes III a VII et un procede pour sa fabrication se caracterise en ce que, au moins un alliage, qui contient au moins un metal du groupe VIII et au moins un metal des groupes III a VII, est pulverise et place sous une atmosphere contenant de l"azote en exces; on demarre la combustion du melange en allumant le melange en un point quelconque, l"exces d"azote etant maintenu jusqu"a la fin de la reaction. Ladite composition metallique et son procede de fabrication peuvent etre utilises pour la fabrication d"alliages durs a base de composants ayant un point de fusion eleve.
