(EN)Method and apparatus for determining the electrical conductivity of the ground, particularly in connection with aerial prospecting, with the use of a transmitter unit (S) and a receiver unit (M) located at a distance from said transmitter unit and particularly carried by an aircraft (21). The transmitter is arranged to generate an electromagnetic field which induces an electric current in the ground, and the receiver is arranged to measure magnetic and electric fields induced by said current at the measuring site, said fields representing a measurement of said electrical conducitivity and variations therein. The magnet field from the transmitter is transmitted horizontally as is directed transversally of an imaginary line that connects the transmitter (S) with the receiver (M). The electric field E from the transmitter is measured in the receiver in a radial direction to the transmitter. The magnetic field (H) is measured in a direction parallel with the magnetic transmitter-field. Of the measured magnitudes (E and H) the ratio (E/H) and/or the phase difference (Alpha) are formed, both of which are dependent on the electrical conductivity of the ground.
(FR)Procede et appareil de determination de la conductivite electrique du sol, en particulier en association avec la prospection aerienne, en utilisant un emetteur (S) et un recepteur (M) situe a une distance de l"emetteur et, en particulier, transporte par un avion (21). L"emetteur est concu pour generer un champ electromagnetique qui induit un courant electrique dans le sol, et le recepteur est concu pour mesurer les champs magnetiques et electriques induits par ledit courant au niveau du site de mesure, ces champs representant une mesure de ladite conductivite electrique et de ses variations. Le champ magnetique provenant de l"emetteur est transmis horizontalement au fur et a mesure qu"il est dirige transversalement par rapport a une ligne imaginaire qui relie l"emetteur (S) au recepteur (M). Le champ electrique (E) provenant de l"emetteur est mesure dans le recepteur dans une direction radiale par rapport a l"emetteur. Le champ magnetique (H) est mesure dans une direction parallele au champ magnetique de l"emetteur. A partir des valeurs mesurees (E et H), le rapport (E/H) et/ou la difference de phase sont determines, ce rapport et cette difference dependant de la conductivite electrique du sol.
