(EN)Photographic material including in one of its layers a polymeric product having an aminoallylidenemalononitrile ultraviolet absorber unit which can be introduced into a photographic layer by aqueous solutions, with the method according to this invention, of including said aminoallylidenemalononitrile unit in an allyl monomer and then copolymerizing it with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in order to obtain said polymeric product to be added to the layer forming composition. This invention is of particular industrial interest in the field of color photographic materials, as it permits absorption of UV radiation near 400nm and not above 420 nm. The absorption of UV radiation within the range of 380 to 400 nm for a gelatin layer comprising the absorber of the present invention is illustrated in figure 1.
(FR)Materiau photographique comprenant dans l"une de ses couches un produit polymere ayant une unite d"aminoallylidene-malononitrile d"absorption des ultraviolets qui peut etre introduit dans une couche photographique par des solutions aqueuses, lequel procede consiste a inclure l"unite d"aminoallylidene-malononitrile dans un monomere d"allyle puis a le copolymeriser avec un monomere ethyleniquement non sature de maniere a obtenir ledit produit polymere a ajouter a la composition formant couche. Ce procede presente un interet industriel particulier dans le domaine des materiaux photographiques de couleurs car il permet l"absorption des rayons UV proches de 400nm et non pas au-dessus de 420nm. L"absorption des rayons UV dans la plage comprise entre 380 et 400nm pour une couche de gelatine comprenant le present absorbeur est illustree a la Fig. 1.
