(EN)Molds having code numbers (141-206) in a molding chain are filled by means of a casting ladle (17). The casting ladle determines each time the mold to be filled and stores this information with the load number (A-H) in a central computer (23) by means of a data recording apparatus By means of a stationary reading apparatus (OL) the position of each mold may be determined. Data recording apparatuses are positioned at the location of sample taking (P) and in the laboratory (L); these data are also stored in the computer. The computer set the position the orientation device (W) in the direction (I) or in the output direction (II). Thereby is obtained an absolute and continuous economical control. The coding device (16) has cams and contactless limit switches and is thereby free from to troubles.
