(EN)Thick film capacitors with screened electrodes can not be laser trimmed without damage to the dielectric. To solve this problem a thick film capacitor, with a first electrode (12), at least one dielectric layer formed from paste (14, 16) and a thin second electrode (18) are formed on a substrate (10). The second electrode (18) is formed from an organo-metallic paste including gold atoms which electrode has a thickness of about 1 micron. This thin electrode (18) can be trimmed by a low energy laser beam (20).
(FR)Des condensateurs a film ou couche epaisse avec des electrodes blindees ne peuvent etre tailles au laser sans endommager le dielectrique. Pour resoudre ce probleme un condensateur a film epais comprend une premiere electrode (12), au moins une couche dielectrique formee avec une pate (14, 16) et une seconde electrode fine (18) formees sur un substrat (10). La seconde electrode (18) est formee avec une pate organometallique comprenant des atomes d'or, laquelle electrode a une epaisseur d'environ 1 micron. Cette electrode fine (18) peut etre taillee par un rayon laser de faible energie (20).
