(EN)The compressor for internal combustion poly-cylinder engines comprises a common rotor (13) provided with a rotary piston (14) for each cylinder of the engine. Each rotary piston (14) is eccentric with respect to the rotor shaft and rotates eccentrically in a cylindrical bore (12) of the crank case. The two axial extremities of each rotary piston (14) are made tight with respect to the cylindrical bore (12) by means of disk shaped seals (34). A sliding blade (19) for each rotary piston provides the radial tightness. This blade (19), which bears on the periphery of the rotary piston through a slot (28) provided in a common intermediate plate (27), separates the suction chamber from the compression chamber of each rotary piston. The rotor (13) is preferably driven by the crank shaft of the engine.
