(EN)A process for making defibered pulp material comprising the steps of treating fibrous ligno-cellulosic material with aqueous nitric acid or nitrate salts having a nitrate ion concentration of about 0.001 to 9.0 wt.% and containing at least one aluminum compound in an amount of at least 0.01 parts by weight of aluminum ions per each 10 parts by weight of HNO3, so as to nitrate ligneous component of said material; and thereafter defibering directly, or treating the nitrated ligno-cellulosic material with alkali to separate the ligneous component from the cellulosic pulp, and, optionally, recombining a part or all of the ligneous component with the cellulosic pulp.
(FR)Un procede de fabrication d"un materiau de pate defibree consiste a traiter le materiau ligno-cellulosique fibreux avec de l"acide nitrique aqueux ou des sels de nitrate ayant une concentration en ions nitrate d"environ 0,001 a 9,0% en poids et contenant au moins un compose d"aluminium en une quantite d"au moins 0,001 partie en poids d"ions d"aluminium pour 10 parties en poids de HNO3, de maniere a nitrer le composant ligneux dudit materiau, puis a defibrer directement, ou traiter le materiau ligneux cellulosique nitre avec de l"alcali pour separer le composant ligneux de la pulpe cellulosique et, eventuellement, a recombiner une partie ou tout le composant ligneux avec la pulpe cellulosique.
