Abstract
(EN) A process for concentrating an aqueous urea solution, which comprises concentrating an aqueous urea solution having a concentration of, preferably, 70-90 wt.% under vacuum to a concentration of 95-99 wt.%, and contacting the thus obtained urea solution with an air stream at an elevated temperature, preferably 135-200 C, in a countercurrent manner under ordinary pressure to thereby concentrate the same to a concentration of 99.5 wt.% or more.
(FR) Procede de concentration d"une solution aqueuse d"uree, qui consiste a concentrer sous vide une solution aqueuse d"uree ayant une concentration, de preference de 70 a 90% en poids, jusqu"a 95 a 99% en poids et a mettre la solution d"uree ainsi obtenue en contact avec un courant d"air a temperature elevee, de preference 135 - 200 C, a contre-courant et sous pression ordinaire pour ainsi la concentrer jusqu"a 99,5% en poids ou plus.
