(EN)Living plants, in particular coniferous plants, with the exception of Picea, Abies, Tsuga, Larix, Taxus and Cedrus genuses, are preserved in that they are caused to suck up a preservative liquid which is based on glycerine and water in the volume proportions of 18: 82 to 35:65 and contains dyestuffs for replacing the color of the plant parts after the preservation. The dyestuffs are to comprise, apart from a blue and possibly also a red dyestuff, tartrazine (C.I. 19140, E 102) in a concentration of from 2-10g/l of preservative liquid. The blue dyestuff comprises preferably patent blue V (C.1.42051, E 131) in a concentration of from 0.1 to 0.8 g/l and the red dyestuff most preferably of new coccine (C.I. 16255, E 124) in a concentration of from 1 to 20 g/l. The relative concentrations between the different dyestuffs are adapted into conformity with the sought-for color of the preserved plant. The preservative liquid may advantageously also contain at least one plant nutrient substance, in particular a water-soluble potassium salt, preferably potassium nitrate in a concentration of from 1 to 15 g/l. The preservation is effected at a temperature of from 15 to 33 C in a current of air at a relative humidity of at most60%, the preservative liquid preferably being a few degrees centigrade warmer than the current of air. It is advantageous to add, to the preservative solution, an amphoteric sulphonated surface active agent in an amount of from 0.2 to 1.5 vol.% in order to attain a shaded coloring of young and old shoots. It is also advantageous to adapt the pH and conductivity of the preservative solution to the analysed pH and conductivity of the plant stock subjected to preservation.
(FR)Des plantes vivantes, en particulier des coniferes, a l"exception des Picea Abies, Tsuga, Larix, Taxus et Cedrus, sont preservees en les forcant a absorber un liquide preservateur qui est a base de glycerine et d"eau dont les proportions en volume sont de 18:82 a 35:65 et qui contient des colorants pour changer la couleur des parties de la plante apres la preservation. Les colorants comprennent, a part un colorant bleu et eventuellement aussi un colorant rouge, de la tartrazine (C.I. 19140, E 102) a une concentration de 2 a 10 g/l de liquide preservateur. Le colorant bleu comprend de preference du bleu verni V (C.I. 42051, E 131) a une concentration de 0,1 a 0,8 g/l et le colorant rouge consiste de preference en coccine nouvelle (C.I. 16255, E 124) a une concentration de 1 a 20 g/l. Les concentrations relatives des differents colorants sont adaptees en fonction de la couleur recherchee de la plante preservee. Le liquide preservateur peut contenir egalement de maniere avantageuse au moins une substance nutritive pour la plante, en particulier un sel de potassium soluble dans l"eau, de preference du nitrate de potassium a une concentration de 1 a 15 g/l. La preservation s"effectue a une temperature comprise entre 15 et 33 C dans un courant d"air avec une humidite relative de 60 au plus, le liquide preservateur etant de preference de quelques degres centigrades plus chaud que le courant d"air. Il est avantageux d"ajouter a la solution preservatrice, un agent tensioactif sulfone en une quantite de 0,2 a 1,5 vol.% de maniere a atteindre une coloration nuancee des jeunes et vielles pousses. Il est aussi avantageux d"adapter le pH et la conductivite de la solution preservatrice au pH et a la conductivite mesures de la plante soumise a la preservation.
