A hydraulic turbo-generator driven by a water current is used for producing electric power; the water is driven by a high output rotary pump (3) and supplied to the turbine (5) by means of a cylindrical conduit (4). The high pressure vapour is produced in a vapour generator (2) and injected in the water current, so that the expansion energy of the vapour is transmitted to the water, if possible completely, and to the turbine. The interaction duration of the vapour and the water is considered to be very short due to the high speed of the water, so that substantially no heat exchange occurs, thereby obtaining a plant output higher than that of conventional plants.

Un turbogenerateur hydraulique entraine par un courant d"eau est utilise pour la production d"electricite; l"eau est entrainee par une pompe rotative (3) a haut rendement puis amenee dans la turbine (5) au moyen d"une conduite cylindrique (4). La vapeur a haute pression est produite dans un generateur de vapeur (2) et injectee dans le courant d"eau, de sorte que l"energie de detente de la vapeur est transmise a l"eau, si possible completement, puis a la turbine. La duree de l"interaction de la vapeur et de l"eau est consideree comme tres courte compte tenu de la vitesse elevee de l"eau, de sorte que pratiquement aucun echange de chaleur n"a lieu. De cette facon on obtient un rendement global de l"installation qui est plus eleve que celui des installations traditionnelles.
