(EN)In the dehydrochlorination of 3,4-dichlorobutene-1 to give chloroprene in a two-phase mixture of water and an alcohol, a bleed stream may be taken from the organic phase to prevent high boiling impurities accumulating. Problems in recovering the alcohol from the bleed are overcome by extracting the bleed with water at a volume ratio of water and organic phase brought into contact at the first extraction step of not less than 15:1, or if the organic phase is substantially free of chloroprene, not less than 6:1.
(FR)Dans la deshydrochloruration de 3,4-dichlorobutene-1 pour obtenir du chloroprene dans un melange a deux phases d'eau et d'un alcool, un courant de soutirage peut etre pris a partir de la phase organique pour empecher l'accumulation d'impuretes d'ebullition. On surmonte les problemes de recuperation de l'alcool a partir du soutirage en effectuant le soutirage avec de l'eau selon un rapport volumetrique d'eau et de phase organique amenee en contact lors de la premiere etape d'extraction n'etant pas inferieur a 15: 1, ou, si la phase organique est sensiblement exempte de chloroprene, pas inferieur a 6: 1.
