Abstract

The field of the invention relates to the dissolution of gasses such as air or oxygen in aqueous liquid as is commonly done in the treatment of sewage wastes. The problem in the prior art is to effect sufficient dissolution of such gasses to avoid the waste of gasses not dissolved. Also, to effect the dissolution of greater quantities of gas to more quickly treat suspended contaminants. This prior art problem is greatly aided by causing both the gas and the liquid being treated to intersect magnetic flux lines simultaneously. Momentarily this displaces the hydrogen bonding in aqueous liquids which lowers viscosity and facilitates dissolution of gas at the liquid interface of each gas bubble. This greatly improved dissolution of gas in the gaseous treatment of liquids is effected by gas chamber (4) which releases gas into the liquid in which submerged. The released gas causes circulation of liquid between magnetic chamber walls (12). Here the gas contacts the liquid at the moment of hydrogen bond displacement by the intersecting flux lines of magnetic plates (2).

L"invention a trait au domaine de la dissolution des gaz tel que l"air ou l"oxygene dans un liquide aqueux, tel qu"il est effectue communement dans le traitement des dechets d"egouts. Le probleme dans la technique anterieure est d"effectuer une dissolution suffisante de tels gaz afin d"eviter la perte des gaz non dissous, et d"effectuer la dissolution de plus grandes quantites de gaz afin de traiter plus rapidement les contaminants en suspension. Ce probleme de la technique anterieure est en grande partie resolu en obligeant et le gaz et le liquide a traiter a entrecouper simultanement des lignes de flux magnetique. Ceci deplace momentanement les liaisons hydrogene dans les liquides aqueux, ce qui diminue la viscosite et facilite la dissolution de gaz a l"interface liquide de chaque bulle de gaz. Cette dissolution tres amelioree du gaz dans le traitement gazeux de liquides est effectuee par une chambre a gaz (4) qui relache le gaz dans le liquide dans lequel elle est submergee. Le gaz relache entraine la circulation du liquide entre les parois magnetiques de la chambre (12). Le gaz entre donc en contact avec le liquide au moment du deplacement de la liaison hydrogene par l"entersection des lignes de flux des plaques magnetique (2).
