(EN)The precise adjustment in the three space directions is obtained by means of a handling member (1) consisting of a handle (4) of which the rotation acts by a cardan shaft (14) on the parts (15, 15a) of the base which are used for the elevation displacement of the instrument, and of an inner lever (5) which, upon rocking of the handling member (3) about the rotation center defined by the cardan shaft (14), is connected without any play to the handle (4) and thereby effects the horizontal displacement of the base (1) with respect to the socket (2). The inner lever (5) is housed, in order to rock or pivot in all directions, in a sleeve or bush (6) fixed to the base (1) and the lower end thereof has the form of a spherical foot (12) which bears directly on the socket (2). The bush (6) wherein the inner level (5) is housed, is arranged in or close to the plane of the cardan (14); the radius of the spherical foot (12) corresponds to the distance between the bush (6) and the socket (2).

La douille (6) dans laquelle loge le levier interne (5) est disposee dans ou pres du plan du cardan (14); le rayon du pied spherique (12) correspond a la distance entre la douille (6) et le socle (2).
