(EN)In a cylinder (52) contained in an enveloppe (11), a striker piston (18) is arranged so that it may move in two directions by periodical thrust of a pressure fluid. In order to avoid transmission of the shock reaction to the enveloppe or casing (11), said casing (11) contains a balancing mass (70) which receives thrust in the opposite direction with respect to the piston (18) and which may be moved in parallel to the piston against the action of a spring (71) compressed against the casing. The assembly formed by the balancing mass (70) and the spring (71) forms an oscillator, of which the frequency will be selected so as not to exceed half or preferably a third of the frequency of the periodical thrust. Thereby, the reaction thrusts are kept close to a mean value lower than the casing weight thereby avoiding to subject the casing to an acceleration due to the reaction.
(FR)Dans un cylindre (52) contenu dans un boitier (11) un piston frappeur (18) est dispose de telle facon qu"il puisse etre deplace dans deux directions par des poussees periodiques d"un fluide de pression. Pour que la reaction du choc ne se transmette pas au boitier (11), celui-ci (11) contient une masse de compensation (70) qui recoit des poussees en sens inverse par rapport au piston (18) et peut etre deplacee parallelement au piston contre l"effet d"un ressort (71) se comprimant contre le boitier. L"ensemble constitue par la masse de compensation (70) et le ressort (71) forme un oscillateur, dont la frequence sera choisie de maniere a ne pas depasser la moitie ou de preference un tiers de la frequence des poussees periodiques. De cette maniere les poussees de reaction sont maintenues proches d"une valeur moyenne inferieure au poids du boitier et de ce fait le boitier ne subit pas d"acceleration due a la reaction.
