(EN)The laser comprises at least a first and a second dielectric discs (5, 6) spaced from each other, at least the first disc (5) being made of a material having a high dielectric coefficient. Within the space between these dielectric discs are provided two interposed semi-discoid conductive armatures (7, 8) each provided with a rectilinear edge (7a, 8a) with a rounded profile, these armatures been arranged so as to define between these edges a longitudinal space (9) forming the laser cavity intended to contain the gaseous active medium. Against the face of the first disc opposite this cavity are arranged again two semi-discoid conductive armatures (13, 14), providing in cooperation with the first dielectric disc and the first two armatures, two storing capacitors (C 1, C2) appropriately connected to a d.c. high voltage source (31). These two capacitors are intended to be connected in series by means of a releasable discharged element (ET) connected between the last two armatures, so that they may be discharged in the laser cavity for generating therein a stimulated emission.
(FR)Le laser selon l"invention comprend au moins un premier et un second disques dielectriques (5, 6) distants l"un de l"autre, dont au moins le premier (5) est fait en un materiau a haut coefficient dielectrique. Dans l"espace entre ces disques dielectriques se trouvent interposees deux armatures conductrices semi-discoidales (7, 8) pourvues chacune d"un bord rectiligne (7a, 8a) au profil arrondi, ces armatures etant agencees de facon a delimiter entre ces bords un espace longitudinal (9) constituant la cavite laser destinee a contenir le milieu actif gazeux. Contre la face du premier disque opposee a cette cavite sont par ailleurs disposees deux autres armatures conductrices egalement semi-discoidales (13, 14), constituant en cooperation avec le premier disque dielectrique et les deux premieres armatures, deux condensateurs de stockage (C1, C2) adequatement relies a une source haute tension continue (31). Ces deux condensateurs sont destines a etre connectes en serie au moyen d"un organe de decharge declenchable (ET) relie entre les deux dernieres armatures, de facon a pouvoir etre decharge s dans la cavite laser en vue d"y ge une emission stimulee.
