(EN)The pipe coupling comprises a female nozzle (2) and male nozzle (4) which may be inserted into the female nozzle and allows the connection, for example of a flexible hose for compressed air with a fixed supply conduit. The male nozzle may be inserted into the female nozzle without actuating the latter since the locking is effected by means of spring blocking members (46) which engage a circumferencial groove (12) of the main nozzle. When the main nozzle is fully engaged into the female nozzle, a valve (24) arranged inside the female nozzle opens against a spring (26). To release the coupling, two sliding motions are effected opposed to a sliding sleeve (58) which surrounds the female nozzle: the first sliding motion releases the blocking members (46) and the second sliding motion releases the blocking members (66). Between these two sliding motions, the male nozzle travels a short axial distance, which causes the closing of the valve (24) and a depressurisation into the flexible hose. Hence, both nozzles may be safely separated after the unblocking of the second blocking members (66). A safety spring pawl (62) prevents an undesired displacement of the sleeve (58).

L"embout male peut etre introduit dans l"embout femelle sans actionner celui-ci puisque le verrouillage s"effectue au moyen d"organes de blocage a ressort (46) qui entrent dans une rainure circonferentielle (12) de l"embout male. Lorsque l"embout male est engage a fond dans l"embout femelle, une soupape (24) disposee a l"interieur de l"embout femelle s"ouvre a l"encontre d"un ressort (26). Pour liberer l"accouplement on fait accomplir deux mouvements coulissants opposes a un manchon coulissant (58) qui entoure l"embout femelle: le premier coulissement libere les organes de blocage (46) et le second les organes de blocage (66). Entre ces deux mouvements de coulissement, l"embout male parcourt un court chemin axial, ce qui provoque la fermeture de la soupape (24) et une depressurisation dans le flexible. Ainsi, on peut separer sans danger les deux embouts apres le deverrouillage des seconds organes de blocage (66). Un cliquet de securite a ressort (62) empeche un deplacement involontaire du manchon (58).
