(EN)A process and an apparatus for transferring information representing a plurality of parameters which are each indicated by a plurality of digits of different weight. The parameters may represent a plurality of measurable states of an arbitrary type, e.g. two co-ordinates on a display, the parameter value being a measure of the state. The most important digit is first transferred from all the parameters in a predetermined sequence, and then the digit next in importance from all the parameters in the same predetermined sequence, and so on, until a desired accuracy or resolubility for the parameter values has been achieved, depending upon the state of operation, and transfer of information is then discontinued so that the row of digits is not necessarily transferred entirely. This is achieved by the connection, shown in fig. 1, between the registers (1, 2, 3, 4), the buffer register (6) and the main register (5), from which the information is read out serially.
(FR)Procede et appareil de transfert d"une information representant une pluralite de parametres qui sont chacun d"eux indiques par une pluralite de chiffres de valeurs differentes. Les parametres peuvent representer une pluralite d"etats mesurables d"un type arbitraire, p.ex. de coordonnees sur un affichage, la valeur du parametre etant une mesure de l"etat. Le chiffre le plus important est transfere en premier a partir de tous les parametres dans une sequence predeterminee, puis le chiffre suivant par ordre d"importance a partir de tous les parametres dans la meme sequence predeterminee, et ainsi de suite, jusqu"a obtenir une precision ou resolubilite desiree pour les valeurs des parametres, dependant de l"etat d"operation, le transfert d"information etant ensuite arrete de maniere a ne pas transferer obligatoirement toute la rangee de chiffres. Ceci est obtenu par la connection, illustree dans la figure 1, entre les registres (1, 2, 3, 4), le registre tampon (6) et le registre principal (5), d"ou l"information est lue en serie.
