(EN)A first measuring signal (u(t)) proportional to the voltage and a second measuring signal proportional to the current are compared, in a comparator, with a periodic reference signal (Ur(t)). In each half-period of the reference signal (Ur(t)) is established, by means of a sampling pulse count a digital value corresponding to the instantaneous value ((Alpha)u1; (Alpha)u2) of the first measuring signal (u(t)) at the time (P1; P2) when it is equal to that of the reference signal (Ur(t)) and a digital value corresponding to the instantaneous value of the second measuring signal at the time when it is equal to that of the reference signal and both these values are multiplied between each other. In an alternative, a digital value corresponding to the mean value ((Alpha)U1; (Alpha)U2) of the first measuring signal (u(t)) and a digital value corresponding to the mean value of the second measuring signal are established and multiplied between each other, within each period (Tr) of the reference signal (Ur(t)) as well as within each period (T"r) and compassing the second half period as the following first half period of the reference signal. The doubling of the frequency at which the values are established is thereby provided, leading to a division by four of the measuring errors.

Dans chaque demi-periode du signal de reference (Ur(t)) on etablit, par un comptage d"impulsions d"echantillonnage, une valeur numerique correspondant a la valeur instantanee ((Alpha)u1; (Alpha)u2) du premier signal de mesure (u(t)) au moment (P1; P2) ou elle est egale a celle du signal de reference (Ur(t)) et une valeur numerique correspondant a la valeur instantanee du deuxieme signal de mesure au moment ou elle est egale a celle du signal de reference et on multiplie entre elles ces deux valeurs. Dans une variante, on etablit et on multiplie entre elles, aussi bien dans chaque periode (Tr) du signal de reference (Ur(t)) que dans chaque periode (T"r) englobant la deuxieme demi-periode et la premiere demi-periode suivante du signal de reference, une valeur numerique correspondant a la valeur moyenne ((Alpha)U1; (Alpha)U2) du premier signal de mesure (u(t)) et une valeur numerique correspondant a la valeur moyenne du deuxieme signal de mesure. On obtient ainsi le doublement de la frequence a laquelle on etablit les valeurs, ce qui conduit a une division par quatre des erreurs de mesure.
