(EN)A joint for coaxially rotating pipes comprising a seal packing (5), placed in the annular clearance between the surfaces (8, 9) of embracing (1) and embraced (2) pipes, a device (6) for tightening the seal packing (5) provided with clamping rings (16, 17) enclosing the seal packing and a thrust ring (7) bearing an axial force created by the pressure of the medium transported through the pipes (1, 2), that thrust ring being mounted at the end (4) of the embraced pipe (2). The thrust ring (7) is so mounted that it is allowed to move axially, relative to the pipe, in the annular clearance or gap, with the result that the thrust ring exerts a pressure on the clamping ring (16) placed against the seal packing at the side of the end (4) of the embraced pipe (2) and adapted for the axial displacement thereof relative to the pipe, in the annular gap.
(FR)Un raccord pour des tubes en rotation coaxiale comprend un joint de garniture (5), place dans l"espace annulaire entre les surfaces (8, 9) du tube renfermant (1) et du tube renferme (2), un dispositif (6) pour serrer la garniture d"etancheite (5) pourvu de bagues de serrage (16, 17) fermant la garniture d"etancheite et une bague de poussee (7) supportant une force axiale produite par la pression d"un milieu transporte au travers des tubes (1, 2), cette bague de poussee etant montee a l"extremite (4) du tube renferme (2). La bague de poussee (7) est montee de maniere a pouvoir se deplacer axialement par rapport au tube dans l"espace annulaire, d"ou il resulte une pression exercee par la bague de poussee sur la bague de serrage (16) placee contre la garniture d"etancheite du cote de l"extremite (4) du tube renferme (2), cette bague de serrage etant adaptee pour se deplacer axialement par rapport au tube dans l"espace annulaire.
