(EN)Polydiene series composite binder for a propellant, which exhibits its functions when a small amount is added. It is the object of the present invention to obtain a binder which provides stable physical properties between production lots and a long pot life upon molding propellants. The binder contains as a major component a polymer prepared by reacting polydiene glycol having a hydroxy group number of 1.8 - 2.1 and a number-average molecular weight of 1,000 - 5,000, a trifunctional cross-linking agent, di-isocyanate, and a bifunctional chain-lengthening agent to attain a desired molecular weight between cross-linked points. Additionally, the addition of a diene polymer having not more than one functional group improves strechability of the binder and eliminates the necessity, or reduces the amount, of a plasticizer.
