The plant comprising a heat pump and used to collect the heat for heating from surrounding heat sources such as outdoor air, is provided with a water tank (5) which is in heat exchange relationship on one hand with the surrounding heat source and, on the other hand, with the coolant circuit of the heat pump through a coolant evaporator (6). By drawing heat from the water tank (5) and introducing that heat into the coolant circuit, the water tank (5) is always kept at a low temperature close to 0 C so that there is almost permanently a heat transfer from the surrounding heat sources towards the water tank (5). To reduce the size of the water tank (5), a coolant evaporator (7) is provided in contact with the outdoor air and it evaporates part of the coolant which is variable according to the outdoor temperature. During hot periods the outdoor evaporator (7) may be used to heat the water tank which is possibly frozen by introducing into the water tank (5) the heat coming from the outdoors air through an additional liquifier (9) mounted into the water tank (5).

L"installation comprenant une pompe a chaleur est utilisee pour recuperer de la chaleur pour le chauffage a partir de sources de chaleur environnantes, telles que l"air exterieur, est munie d"un reservoir a eau (5) qui est en relation d"echange de chaleur, d"une part avec la source de chaleur environnante et, d"autre part, avec le circuit de refrigerant de la pompe a chaleur a travers un evaporateur de refrigerant (6). En prelevant de la chaleur du reservoir d"eau (5) et en l"introduisant dans le circuit du refrigerant on obtient que le reservoir d"eau (5) se trouve toujours a une temperature basse approchant 0 C de facon qu"il y ait presque toujours un transport de chaleur des sources environnantes vers le reservoir d"eau (5). Pour pouvoir reduire les dimensions du reservoir d"eau (5) on prevoit un evaporateur de refrigerant (7) qui est en contact avec l"air exterieur et qui evapore une partie du refrigerant qui est variable selon la temperature exterieure. Dans des periodes chaudes l"evaporateur exterieur (7) peut etre utilise pour rechauffer le reservoir d"eau (5) eventuellement gele en introduisant dans celui-ci la chaleur provenant de l"air exterieur a travers un liquefacteur additionnel (9) situe dans le reservoir d"eau (5).
