(EN)The plant for gasifying coal into methane or synthesis gas comprises a hydrogenation gasifier (2), a vapour gasifier (4), a conversion device (17), a fractionation device (9), a nuclear reactor (23) and a furnace for separating the methane (22 and 27). To heat both gasifiers, the crude gases which come out therefrom are used conversely. Alternately, the separation furnace (22) is heated either with the helium coming from the primary or secondary cooling circuit of the reactor or electrically. When heating electrically, high temperatures necessary for this method may be reached, without charging the nuclear reactor with such high temperatures. Further, with such process, the nuclear reactor and the gasification plant may be mounted separately and uncoupled to a large extend.

Pour le chauffage des deux gazeificateurs, on utilise reciproquement les gaz bruts qui en sortent. Dans le cas ou l"on chauffe electriquement, on peut atteindre les temperatures elevees necessaires pour ce procede, sans charger le reacteur nucleaire avec cette temperature elevee. En outre, en procedant ainsi, le reacteur nucleaire et l"installation de gazeification peuvent etre montes separement et decouplees de facon importante.
