Abstract
(EN)
Dental screw for anchoring fillings, reconstitutions and prosthesis of any kind. It is characterized in that dental screw is made up of several parts and in that these different parts may be interconnected by the friction produced by the fixing means. According to this principle, dental screws of several parts transmit the high pressure of mastication on the largest possible length of the dental root and on the jaw-bone which surrounds it rather than on the upper part of this jaw-bone only. This possibility may also be applied to very long roots or to curved roots as well as to teeth of one or more roots. Hence, the danger of overload on the upper part of the root canal and consequently of slits and cracks is considerably lessened. Further, the anchoring of the dental screw may be extended, if necessary, up to the peak of the root, allowing the setting of reconstitutions or prosthesis even in the cases where, due to damages or fractures of the natural dental material, such as setting would not be possible or when an improvement could only be achieved through an extraction.
(FR)
