(EN)A method of underground mining mineral (10, 11) or preparation of rock cavities, whereby resulting hollow spaces can be refilled entirely or partially with temporarily stabilizing ice (21). The hollow space resulting from the mining is prepared in a first step for ice filling by partially removing the geothermal heat thereof, so that the walls of the hollow space be at a temperature below 0 C. In a second step water is supplied, possibly together with a reinforcing additive, intermittently into the hollow space, said water together with the possibly added reinforcing agent being cooled and frozen (24). In a third step the frozen ice body (21) is maintained by removing the constantly inflowing geothermal energy during a time period deemed necessary for achieving the object. The cooling (24) preferably is effected by artificially cooled air. The first step and the third step, however, can be abolished when the climatic conditions are such that the rock about the hollow space is frozen below the freezing point. The cooling air flows in a closed system (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, l8) which is entirely separated from the ventilation air.
(FR)Une methode d"exploitation miniere souterraine (10, 11) ou de preparation des cavites rocheuses ou les espaces creux resultant peuvent etre remplis entierement ou partiellement avec de la glace de stabilisation (21). L"espace creux resultant de l"exploitation miniere est prepare dans une premiere etape en vue de son remplissage avec de la glace par elimination de sa chaleur geothermique de maniere a faire descendre la temperature des parois en-dessous de 0 C. Dans une seconde phase on amene de l"eau a laquelle on y ajoute si possible un additif de renforcement, de maniere intermittente dans l"espace creux, l"eau et l"eventuel agent de renforcement etant refroidis et geles (24). Dans une troisieme etape le corps de glace gelee (21) est maintenu en evacuant l"energie geothermique pendant une periode de temps jugee necessaire pour atteindre l"objectif. Le refroidissement (24) s"effectue de preference par de l"air refroidi artificiellement. La premiere phase et la troisieme phase, cependant, peuvent etre eliminees lorsque les conditions climatiques sont telles que la roche autour de l"espace creux soit gelee et se trouve en-dessous du point de congelation, L"air de refroidissement circule dans un systeme ferme (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) qui est entierement separe de l"air de ventilation.
