(EN)A hauling vehicle in the form of a so called terminal tractor which at first hand is intended for transporting containers but which also can be used for transporting different kinds of trailers which are provided only with rear wheels. This hauling vehicle is two-axled and is provided at its rear end with connecting means (8) designed to enable an essentially rigid interconnection of the vehicle frame (1) with the front end of the container (14) or the trailer to be hauled. The rear wheels (7) of the hauling vehicle are steerable as well as drivable from the driving motor of the vehicle. Moreover, the rear axle (6) carrying these steerable and drivable wheels (7), is connected to the vehicle frame (1) by means of means (12), e.g. hydraulic cylinders, enabling an adjustment of the vertical position of the vehicle frame relative to the rear axle. After that the vehicle with the rear end of its frame has been rigidly interconnected with the front end of the container, the vehicle frame can be raised relative to the rear axle, whereby the front end of the container is lifted up into the air.The distribution of the weight of the vehicle between the rear axle (6) and the front axle (4) is such that also the front wheels (5) of the vehicle are lifted up into the air. If the rear end of the container has been provided with a temporarily affixed wheel set (15) with hydraulically operable wheels the hauling vehicle according to the invention together with the container will form a drivable equipage whose drivable and steerable front wheels (7) are the rear wheels of the hauling vehicle.
(FR)Un vehicule de traction en forme de tracteur terminal est en premier lieu destine au transport des containers mais peut aussi transporter differents types de remorques qui ne sont pourvues que de roues arrieres, Ce vehicule de traction possede deux essieux et est pourvu a son extremite arriere de moyens de connection (8) concus pour permettre une liaison rigide du chassis du vehicule (1) avec l"extremite avant du container (14) ou de la remorque a tirer. Les roues arriere (7) du vehicule de traction ou remorquage sont directionnelles et entrainees par le moteur du vehicule. De plus, l"essieu arriere (6) portant ces roues directionnelles et motrices (7), est rattache au chassis du vehicule (1) par des moyens (12), p.ex. des cylindres hydrauliques, permettant un ajustement de la position verticale du chassis du vehicule par rapport a l"essieu arriere. Une fois l"extremite arriere du chassis du vehicule reliee de maniere rigide a l"extremite avant du container, le chassis du vehicule peut etre sureleve par rapport a l"essieu arriere, faisant monter ainsi l"extremite avant du container. La distribution du poids du vehicule entre l"essieu arriere (6) et l"essieu avant (4) est telle que les roues avant (5) du vehicule montent egalement en l"air. Si l"extremite arriere du container a ete pourvue d"un train de roues fixe temporairement (15) avec des roues pouvant etre commandees hydrauliquement, le vehicule de traction selon l"invention forme avec le container forment un ensemble dont les roues avant motrices et directionnelles (7) sont les roues arrieres du vehicule de traction.
