(EN)A plurality of P groups of N incoming and outgoing multiplex highways are each formed of N multiplex highways and have a N time slots where a is the number of time slots in a multiple highway. The supermultiplex highways are multiplexed two by two and with themselves to form double supermultiplex highways each having 2aN time slots. It results that there exists a double supermultiplex highway simultaneously containing any time slot assigned to a calling party and any time slot assigned to a called party whatever be these time slots. The buffer stores (60o,o - 60 p-1, P-1) of the switching network unit can thus be rendered bidirectional and their number is P (P+1)/2 instead of P2 in the prior art.
(FR)Une pluralite de P groupes de N bus de multiplexage d"entree et de sortie et de P bus de supermultiplexage d"entree et de sortie sont formes chacun de N bus de multiplexage et possedent aN tranches de temps ou a est le nombre de tranches de temps dans un bus de multiplexage. Les bus de supermultiplexage sont multiplexes deux a deux et entre eux pour former des bus de supermultiplexage double ayant chacun 2aN tranches de temps. Le resultat obtenu est l"existence d"un bus double de supermultiplexage contenant simultanement toute tranche de temps affectee a un demandeur et toute tranche de temps affectee a un demande quelles que soient ces tranches de temps. Les memoires tampons (60 o,o - 60 p-1, P-1) de l"unite de reseau de commutation peuvent ainsi etre rendu bidirectionelles et leur nombre est P (P+1)/2 au lieu de P2 dans l"etat de la technique anterieure.
