(EN)An actuator driven by fluid pressure and which is practically usable and capable of operating linearly and rockably. Specifically, a universal actuator is disclosed, which can, with a small number thereof, simply control complicated and high level functions that cannot be carried out by the conventional single function actuator and which can also operate reliably, particularly as a rockable actuator, to be useful for rectilinear drive or the like, over a length much longer than the entire length of the actuator itself. To this end, the invention smoothly converts the reciprocating motion of a piston into rotary motion of a circular post member via a non-telescoping but flexible transmission element, while leading the motion out of a housing and connecting it to a load via a complete shaft sealing mechanism. The fact that the flexible transmission element does not telescope through the housing assures high reliability and allows it to be applied to long rectilinear drive for construction machinery, load handling machines, robot mechanisms, valve drive, and elevators, and also to the synchronization of a plurality of loads, or sequence control.

Le systeme de commande comprend une commande principale (34) fonctionnant en reponse a un signal de commande electrique (42) pour faire varier le deplacement de la pompe, et un generateur de signaux de commande (46) pour produire le signal de commande (42). La commande d"anti-arret (44) comprend des moyens pour comparer les signaux electriques (54, 60) representant la vitesse du moteur et une vitesse de reference, et pour produire un signal electrique d"anti-arret (88) representant le pourcentage maximum de deplacement de la pompe commandee qui est permis sans que le moteur ne tombe en deca de la vitesse de reference. La commande d"anticalage comprend des moyens (98) pour multiplier electriquement le signal d"anti-arret et le signal de commande, en aval des circuits de formation et de reduction. L"invention prevoit une commande d"anti-arret simple et peu couteuse qui peut etre reglee pour avoir un gain possible maximum (reponse) sans provoquer une instabilite des circuits.
