Abstract:
(EN) Most of the circuitry of an electronic organ is made up of a plurality of digital large scale integrated (LSI) circuit chips (Fig. 1, 18, 42, 56; Fig. 5-142, 146, 82). Certain of the chips can be duplicated (Fig. 1-18a, 56a, 56b, 56c) or substituted for others of like type (Fig. 5-82, 146, 142) to provide an organ with more or less tone generators, more or less features etc., whereby organs of various price levels can be constructed from the same basic parts. In operation, essentially all of the organ functions and features are provided by carrying out logical and arithmetic operations on digital pulse trains generated under control of a master clock.
(FR) La plupart des circuits d"un orgue electronique se composent d"une pluralite de microplaquettes de circuits integres a grande echelle (LSI) (FIG. 1, 18, 42, 56; FIG. 5-142, 146, 82). Certaines de ces microplaquettes peuvent etre dupliquees (FIG. 1, 18a, 56a, 56b, 56c) ou substituees par d"autres d"un type semblable (FIG. 5-82, 146, 142) pour obtenir un orgue avec plus ou moins de generateurs de tonalites, plus ou moins de caracteristiques, etc., de maniere a pouvoir construire des orgues a des prix differents a partir des memes elements de base. En fonctionnement, toutes les fonctions et les caracteristiques essentielles de l"orgue sont produites en effectuant les operations logiques et arithmetiques sur des trains d"impulsions digitales produites sous controle d"une horloge maitresse.
