Abstract:
(EN) The pressure transducer of this invention comprises a bellows made of two sheets of diaphragm plates which have concentric top and bottom portions and are of a radially continued wave form and adhered to one another at the peripheral edges thereof, a differential transformer having a plunger shaft connected to one end of the bellows, and a case fixedly supporting an air intake tube protruted from the other end of the bellows and containing therein the bellows and the transformer. The amplitude of the waveform of each of the diaphragm plates is sequentially enlarged towards the peripheral edge thereof. Two or more such bellows are employed to reduce the size of the transducer, and to enhance the accuracy of the transducer, particularly used as a blood pressure measuring instrument.
(FR) Le transducteur de pression comprend un soufflet constitue par deux plaques a diaphragme qui ont des parties superieures et inferieures concentriques et ont une forme ondulee continue et sont rattachees l"une a l"autre sur leur bord peripherique, un transformateur differentiel ayant un arbre piston connecte a une extremite du soufflet, et un boitier supportant un tube d"entree d"air se projetant a l"autre extremite du soufflet, ce boitier contenant le soufflet et le transformateur. L"amplitude des ondulations de chacune des plaques diaphragmes s"agrandit successivement vers le bord peripherique de celles-ci. Deux ou plusieurs soufflets sont employes pour reduire les dimensions du transducteur, pour renforcer la rigidite du transducteur, et ameliorer la precision de ce dernier, qui peut etre utilise en particulier comme instrument de mesure de la pression arterielle.
