Abstract:
(EN) A blood pressure measurement system includes a cuff, an automatic inflation-deflation device for supplying compressed air to the cuff, electronic circuits for discriminating Korotokov sounds, and display means for indicating both the maximum (systolic) and minimum (diastolic) values of blood pressure. The cuff is divided into two portions, namely a blood choking cuff portion and a sound collecting cuff portion. The variation of air pressure in the sound collecting cuff portion may be detected by a microphone sensor which is provided outside the cuff. The detected sounds are once separated into Korotokov sounds and heart sounds. Then both sounds are compared to confirm the simultaneous occurrence. These coincident sounds may be judged to be Korotokov sounds and used to measure blood pressure.
(FR) Un systeme de mesure de la pression arterielle comprend une manchette, un dispositif automatique de gonflage et de degonflage pour amener de l"air comprime dans la manchette, des circuits electroniques pour distinguer les sons de Korotokov, et des moyens d"affichage pour indiquer les valeurs maximum (systolique) et minimum (diastolique) de la pression arterielle. La manchette est divisee en deux parties, soit une partie d"etranglement et une partie collectrice des sons. La variation de la pression d"air dans la partie collectrice des sons peut etre detectee par un capteur microphonique qui est dispose a l"exterieur de la manchette. Les sons detectes sont separes en sons de Korotokov et en sons cardiaques. Ensuite les deux types de sons sont compares pour confirmer leur frequence simultanee. Ces sons coincidents peuvent etre consideres comme etant des sons de Korotokov et utilises pour mesurer la pression arterielle.
