(EN)A method and apparatus for applying a bactericide aerosol to a container (14) for sterilization of the same. A reservoir (11) feeds a liquid bactericide into a nebulizing chamber (17) in which is operatively mounted a transducer (31) that is energized by high frequency electrical power for producing vibrational energy for directly energizing the bactericide to nebulize the liquid bactericide into fine particles. A source of pressurized air is connected to the nebulizer to provide a carrier air for conveying the fine particles of bactericide through a transfer tube (67) to a heated nozzle (13) for spraying the fine particles into a container. A monitor (12) is operatively connected in the flow path of the bactericide aerosol for monitoring the flow rate of the bactericide aerosol. By virtue of this invention, improved control of the creation and concentration of a bactericide aerosol is attained, whereby complete sterilization is assured.
(FR)Un procede et un appareil d"application d"un aerosol bactericide dans un recipient (14) pour effectuer sa sterilisation. Un reservoir sert a l"alimentation en bactericide liquide d"une chambre de vaporisation (17) dans laquelle est monte un transducteur (31) qui est excite par un courant electrique a haute frequence pour produire une energie de vibrations pour activer directement le bactericide en vue de sa vaporisation en fines particules. Une alimentation d"air sous pression est connectee au vaporisateur en vue d"obtenir de l"air porteur pour transporter les particules fines de bactericide a travers un tube de transfert (67) vers une buse chauffee (13) pour vaporiser les particules fines dans un recipient. Un dispositif de controle (12) est branche dans le passage d"ecoulement de l"aerosol bactericide pour controler le debit de celui-ci. Cette invention permet d"obtenir un meilleur controle de la production et de la concentration d"un aerosol bactericide, et donc une sterilisation totale.
