(FR) MATERIAU ET PROCEDE DE DISSOCIATION DE L"EAU
Abstract:
(EN) A material and method of use thereof which produces hydrogen by decomposition of water. The material is an amalgam of an alkali metal, mercury and aluminium and hydrogen is produced by contacting water therewith. In addition, a material and method for the decomposition/dissociation of water into hydrogen and oxygen is disclosed. The material comprises an amalgam of an alkali metal, mercury, and aluminium combined with a catalytically effective amount of an alloy comprising platinum and at least one metal selected from the group consisting of germanium, antimony, gallium, thallium, indium, cadmium, bismuth, lead, zinc and tin.

Le materiau est un amalgame d"un metal alcalin, de mercure et d"aluminium et l"hydrogene est produit en mettant l"eau au contact de celui-ci. De plus, un materiau et un procede pour la decomposition/dissociation de l"eau en hydrogene et en oxygene sont decrits.
