Abstract:
(EN) The alloy contains iron and, (expressed by weight), 0.5 to 4% B, 0.05 to 1.5% C and 0.5 to 5% Si wherein the Fe percentage has been increased from 5 to 30% by weight and wherein O.1 to 20% by weight of one or several carbide- and/or boride-forming elements have been added, such as Mo, V, Nb, W, Zr, HF, Ta, Ti and Cr, the last mentioned not being present above. In such an alloy, there is no formation or, at the most, little formation of FeB and Fe3C and a good to a very good ductility is provided. This alloy is less expensive because of its increased Fe content and is further provided with a higher resistance to oxidation and corrosion than that of conventional alloys of this type with an extremely reduced Fe content.

Dans un tel alliage, il n"y a pas de formation ou tout au plus une formation minime de FeB et Fe3C et on obtient une bonne jusqu"a tres bonne ductilite. L"alliage devenu plus economique grace a une teneur accrue en Fe presente, en outre, une meilleure resistance a l"oxydation et a la corrosion que les alliages usuels de ce type a teneur la plus reduite possible en Fe.
