Abstract:
(EN) The device allows to regulate both the engine (15) and the transmission (14) - by steps or not - of a motor vehicle so as to reduce as much as possible the fuel consumption thereof. For this purpose, the desired power of the engine being transmitted through the foot-pedal (10) of the vehicle, the appropriate gear, in other terms the transmission ratio is adjusted through the characteristic field (12) of the transmission. The engine (15) will thus be adjusted in relation to the number of revolutions given by the modification of the transmission ratio, said number of revolutions, being related to the characteristic field (13) of the engine or to the characteristic curve of the characteristic field (13) of the engine, corresponds to the minimum fuel consumption. The device is provided, preferably, so that in normal operation conditions, it is adjusted for optimal consumption, namely in relation to the characteristic field (13) of the engine. For passing from optimal consumption running to optimal power running, elements (91) are provided which take into account the functional behaviour of the motor vehicle in corresponding situations.
(FR) Le dispositif permet de regler aussi bien le moteur de commande (15) que la transmission (14) - continue ou non - d"un vehicule a moteur de facon que sa consommation de combustible soit aussi faible que possible. Pour cela, la puissance desiree du moteur etant transmise par la pedale du vehicule (10), la marche adequate, c"est-a-dire le rapport de transmission, est reglee par l"intermediaire du champ caracteristique (12) de la transmission. Le moteur de commande (15) sera ainsi regle en fonction du nombre de tours du moteur donne par la modification du rapport de transmission, nombre de tour qui, etant fonction du champ caracteristique (13) du moteur ou de la ligne caracteristique du champ caracteristique (13) du moteur, correspond a une consommation minimale du combustible. Le dispositif est de preference concu de maniere qu"en exploitation normale il soit regle pour une consommation optimale, c"est-a-dire en fonction du champ caracteristique (13) du moteur. Pour le passage du fonctionnement a consommation optimale a celui a puissance optimale, il est prevu des elements (91) qui tiennent compte du comportement fonctionnel du vehicule a moteur dans les situations correspondantes.
