Abstract

A thermostatic mixing valve is provided comprising a thermostat body (10) arranged in an elongated housing (1) and actuating an axially displaceable control member (8), which regulates the inlet areas for the warm and cold water The control member cooperates with a sleeve member (14) for regulating one of the inlet areas. The sleeve member is axially displaceable in the housing by the pressure from one of the liquids and this movement is limited by a stop ring (20). The end of the sleeve member (14) remote from the control member (8) cooperates with an axially displaceable closing sleeve (18) regulating the outlet area of the mixed water. Pressure means (21) actuated by an actuating lever (5) acts upon the closing sleeve by pivoting said lever about an axle (24) perpendicular to the housing. The mixed water temperature being regulated by rotating said lever, at which means being arranged to axially displaced the thermostat body (10).

Vanne melangeuse thermostatique comprenant un thermostat (10) dispose dans un corps allonge (1) et actionnant un organe de commande mobile axialement (8) qui regle les entrees d"eau chaude et d"eau froide. L"organe de commande coopere avec un element-manchon (14) pour le reglage d"une des entrees. L"element-manchon est mobile axialement dans le corps sous l"effet de la pression de l"un des liquides et ce mouvement est limite par un anneau d"arret (20). L"extremite de l"element-manchon (14) la plus eloignee de I"organe de commande (8) coopere avec un manchon de fermeture mobile axialement (18), reglant la sortie du melange. Des moyens de pression (21) actionnes par un levier (5) agissent sur le manchon de fermeture par pivotement dudit levier autour d"un axe (24) perpendiculaire au corps. La temperature du melange est reglee par rotation dudit levier auquel sont assujettis des moyens pour deplacer axialement le corps du thermostat (10).
