(EN)An amorphous carbon alloy of a fundamental composition which contains carbon in the form of amorphous metalloid and is represented by the formula: XaCrbMcQd wherein X denotes at least one metal selected from Fe, Co and Ni; a denotes 14-86% by atom; Crb denotes Cr of O - 22% by atom; and M denotes at least one metal selected from Cr, Mo and W. In its production, since carbon is used in the form of metalloid, the production cost is inexpensive and further no poisonous gas is generated. This alloy has advantages in which it is easy in production and high in strength, hardness, crystallization temperature, brittle temperature, and corrosion resistance. This alloy my have any characteriss of high magnetic permeability, non-magnetic property and/or low magnetostriction, in accordance with variations in components.
(FR)Alliage de carbone amorphe contenant du carbone sous forme d"un metalloide amorphe et represente par la formule. XaCrbMcQd dans laquelle X represente au moins un metal choisi parmi Fe, Co et Ni, a represente 14 a 86% en atomes; Crb represente Cr de 0 a 22% en atomes; et M represente au moins un metal choisi parmi Cr, Mo et W. Puisque le carbone est utilise sous forme de metalloide, le cout de production est faible et il ne se degage pas de gaz toxique. Cet alliage presente des avantages resultant de sa facilite de production, de sa resistance, de sa durete, de sa temperature de cristallisation, de sa temperature de fragilite et de sa resistance a la corrosion elevees. Cet alliage peut avoir toutes les caracteristiques de haute permeabilite magnetique, etre non magnetique et/ou a faible magnetostriction, selon les proportions de ses constituants.
