Abstract:
(EN) The solar collector allowing the direct conversion of thermic energy received into electric energy combines the advantages of a solar cell with those of a conventional solar collector of which the construction is solid and cheap. It comprises a thermic column consisting of any number of thermo-elements (18) connected in series. One of the contact points (16) of each thermo-elements is heated by the solar radiation absorbed whereas the other (24) is cooled by circulation of a fluid (28), preferably, water. The collector can be a plate collector wherein the thermal column is composed of a plurality of juxtaposed pairs of short wires of appropriate material (20, 22).
(FR) Le collecteur solaire permettant la conversion directe de l"energie thermique recue en energie electrique combine les avantages d"une cellule solaire avec ceux d"un collecteur solaire classique dont la construction est robuste et economique. Il comprend une colonne thermique consistant en un nombre quelconque de thermo-elements (18) connectes en serie. L"un des points de contact (16) de chaque thermo-elements est chauffe par le rayonnement solaire absorbe tandis que l"autre (24) est refroidi par la circulation d"un fluide (28), de preference, de l"eau. Le collecteur peut etre un collecteur a plaques dans lequel la colonne thermique est avantageusement composee d"une pluralite de paires juxtaposees de courts fils (20, 22) en materiaux appropries.
