(EN)A mechanism for controlling the striking force and the nonstriking in a typewriter comprises a driving shaft (4) provided with at least two cams (8, 9) corresponding to different striking forces, a sensor (13) for sensing the profile of these cams transmitting its motion to a printing head (1), displacement means (17, 18) for the sensor (13) and receiving means (20, 40, 41) for the control pulses. With a view to avoiding an important transfer or energy with the control pulses, the mechanism comprises a loaded spring (39) acting on the displacement means (17, 18) that causes them to cooperate with a stop device (34-38). This stop device (34-38) is controlled in several positions by said receiving means (20, 40, 41). A return device (59, 61) driven by the driving shaft (4) brings back the displacement means (17, 18) in a so-called normal position after each complete rotation of this shaft (4).
(FR)Un mecanisme de commande de la force de frappe et de la non-frappe pour une machine a ecrire comprend un arbre moteur (4) muni d"au moins deux cames (8, 9) correspondant a differentes forces de frappe, un tateur (13) du profil de ces cames transmettant son mouvement a une tete d"impression (1) des moyens de deplacement (17, 18) de ce tateur (13) et des moyens de reception (20, 40, 41) d"impulsions de commande. En vue d"eviter un transfert d"energie important dans les impulsions de commande, le mecanisme comprend un ressort sous tension (39) agissant sur les moyens de deplacement (17, 18) pour les faire cooperer avec un dispositif de butee (34-38). Ce dispositif de butee (34-38) est commande dans plusieurs positions par lesdits moyens de reception (20, 40, 41). Un dispositif de rappel (59, 61) entraine par l"arbre moteur (4) remet les moyens de deplacement (17, 18) dans une position dite normale a chaque rotation complete de cet arbre (4).
