(EN)The pick-up element of this device comprises at least two superposed windings of electrical conductors (Ex) and (Ey). Each of these windings is shaped so as to present a rectilinear portion on at least one fraction of its length and they are so arranged that two respective rectilinear portions are superposed and that the conductors of one of these portions are orthogonal to the conductor of the other portion. The covering area of these two windings defines the surface in which the pick-up element of the device is capable of recording at the terminals of these two windings (Ex) and (Ey), voltages (Ux) and (Uy) with respect to magnetic field variations resulting from the displacement of a permanent magnet integral with the writing instrument. The output signals from this device can be used for identifying a signature or for transmitting writing characters.

La zone de recouvrement de ces deux enroulements constitue la superficie dans laquelle l"element capteur du dispositif est capable d"enregistrer aux bornes des deux enroulements (Ex) et (Ey) des tensions (Ux) et (Uy) en fonction des variations de champ magnetique consecutives au deplacement au-dessus de cette zone d"un aimant permanent solidaire de l"instrument d"ecriture. Les signaux issus de ce dispositif peuvent servir a identifier une signature, ou a transmettre des caracteres d"ecriture.
