Abstract:
(EN) A self-locking screw is provided with a slit (4) radially cut along the top portion of the screw thread (2). The flank angle (3) of the screw thread (2) is less than the flank angle (8) of the screw thread (7) of a cooperating screw (6), so that the screw thread (2) is elastically deformed by engagement with the screw thread (7) along a direction making the slit (4) narrower. As a result, the side surfaces (2a) of the screw thread (2) are coherently pressed onto the side surfaces of the screw thread (7), causing a strong friction between them and providing for good anti-loosening ability.
(FR) Une vis a verrouillage automatique presente une rainure (4) menagee radialement le long de la partie superieure du filetage de la vis (2). L"angle (3) forme par les flancs du filetage de la vis (2) est inferieur a l"angle (8) forme par les flancs du filetage (7) d"une vis concurrente (6), de sorte que le filetage de la vis (2) subit une deformation elastique par engagement dans le filetage de la vis (7) d"apres une direction rendant la rainure (4) plus etroite. Il en resulte que les surfaces laterales (2a) du filetage (2) sont comprimees d"une maniere coherente sur les surfaces laterales du filetage (7), provoquant entre celles-ci un frottement notable et rendant le desserrage impossible.
