Abstract:
(EN) A FDM/TDM transmultiplexer uses sampling rate multiplication to increase the sampling rate for time division multiplexed (TDM) to frequency division multiplexed (FDM) conversion and decrease the sampling rate for FDM to TDM conversion. The rate multiplication filters (22, 24, 54) are realized digitally in order to exploit the computational advantage of Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) algorithm, and channel filtering is implemented by a single time-shared sixth-order elliptic digital recursive filter (20, 56). A novel FFT processor (54) and recursive filter (20) are disclosed which may be used in the system.
(FR) Le convertisseur FDM/TDM utilise une multiplication de la frequence d"echantillonnage afin d"augmenter cette frequence pour la conversion multiplexage a division de temps (TDM) multiplexage a division de frequence (FDM) et de la diminuer pour la conversion FDM-TDM. Les filtres de multiplication (22, 24, 54) sont realises numeriquement afin d"exploiter la puissance de calcul offerte par l"algorithme de la transformation de Fourier rapide (TFR), et le filtrage de voie est effectue par un seul filtre (20, 56) recursif numerique elliptique de sixieme ordre en partage de temps. La description expose un nouveau processeur TFR (54) et un filtre recursif (20) pouvant etre utilises dans le convertisseur.
