(EN)Laminate of glass and plastic and a method and a device for producing the same. To obtain an impact resistant laminate the glass in the laminate is compressed over its entire cross section by means of the plastic which is in a state of elastic tensile strain. The forces between the glass and the plastic are transferred by means of a layer of non cold creeping adhesive between them. The laminate is prepared by joining the glass to the plastic with a non cold creeping adhesive whereby the joint is kept free from shear forces during the entire gluing and curing of the adhesive whereafter the glass, after completed curing of the adhesive, is subjected to compression by means of contracting forces from the plastic. The contracting forces in the plastic can e.g. be obtained by mechanical stretching before or during the gluing or by gluing at an elevated temperature. A device for producing the laminate comprises a frame (3) for supporting the plastic material (4) and means (2 or 6) for applying a distributed bending force essentially perpendicular to the plastic material and between the points of support.
(FR)Methode et dispositif de production d"un lamine de verre et de plastique. De maniere a obtenir un lamine resistant aux impacts, le verre du lamine est comprime sur toute sa section au moyen du plastique qui se trouve dans un etat de deformation elastique due a la traction. Les forces entre le verre et le plastique sont transmises au moyen d"une couche d"un adhesif rigide a froid, place entre ceux-ci. Le lamine est prepare en joignant le verre en plastique avec un adhesif rigide a froid, le joint n"etant pas soumis a des forces de cisaillement pendant tout le collage et la vulcanisation de l"adhesif; le verre, une fois la vulcanisation de l"adhesif terminee, est soumis a la compression au moyen de forces de contraction provenant du plastique. Les forces de contraction du plastique peuvent par exemple etre obtenues par allongement mecanique avant ou pendant le collage ou en collant a une temperature elevee. Un dispositif de production du lamine comprend un cadre (3) de support du materiau plastique (4) et des moyens (2 ou 6) pour appliquer une force de flexion repartie essentiellement perpendiculairement au materiau plastique et entre les points de supports.
