Abstract:
(EN) Scales, in particular for weighing persons, comprise a base (2) and a tray (7). The base (2) is provided with struts (5) directed upwards and the tray is supported by struts (9) directed downwards, both series of struts being located near to the edge of the tray and evenly distributed along its periphery. Struts (5) associated with the base alternate with struts (9) supporting the tray. The end of each strut (5, 9) comprises a notch used for holding an electrical conductor (6). Conductor (6) is a stretchable wire and follows a zigzag path from one strut (5, 9) to another. The two ends of conductor (6) one connected to an electronic device which measures the electrical resistance of conductor (6). Conductor (6) thus supports the tray (7) and is used as a measurement convertor in order to convect the load acting in the tray into an electrical signal.
(FR) Une balance particulierement destinee au pesage des personnes comporte un socle (2) et un plateau (3). Le socle (2) est muni de supports (5) orientes vers le haut et le plateau de supports (9) orientes vers le bas, places les uns et les autres a proximite du bord du plateau et repartis de facon a peu pres reguliere sur son pourtour. On trouve alternativement un support du socle (5) et un support du plateau (9). Les supports (5, 9) presentent a leur extremite une encoche qui sert de point d"ancrage (5a, 9a) pour un conducteur electrique (6). Le conducteur (6) est un fil extensible et suit un trace en zig-zag d"un support (5, 9) a l"autre. Les deux extremites du conducteur (6) sont raccordees a un dispositif electronique de mesure qui determine la resistance electrique du conducteur (6). Le conducteur (6) porte ainsi le plateau (7) et sert en meme temps de convertisseur de mesure afin de transformer la charge qui pese sur le plateau en un signal electrique.
