Abstract:
(EN) Process and device for the granulation of molten slags, molten glass, molten ceramics, molten metal and molten metal alloys, particularly of blast furnace slags, the molten material being formed by at least a thin, liquid tapping with free displacement in a predetermined direction and which, by meeting under a predetermined angle a flux having a substantially unique direction, a high speed compared to the tapping"s resp. the tapping"s, and having a free displacement and being formed by solid particles of thin granular structure and/or by gas, particularly by a shield gas, turns, at least partly, into a granulate with essentially thin granular structure and a fan-shaped distribution at least in one part of the area comprised between the opposite angle and the impact angle. The device comprises an impact wall (4) placed on the path of the liquid tapping of slags (2) and a belt (16) acting as a particle accelerator.
(FR) Procede et dispositif pour la granulation de scories en fusion, de ceramique en fusion, de metal en fusion et d"alliages metalliques en fusion, notamment de scories de haut-fourneau, le materiau en fusion etant forme par au moins une coulee mince, liquide et se deplacant librement dans une direction predeterminee et qui, par rencontre sous un angle predeterminee avec un flux presentant une direction de flux sensiblement unique et une vitesse elevee par rapport a la coulee, le flux se deplacant essentiellement librement et etant forme de particules solides a structure granulaire fine et/ou de gaz, notamment de gaz de protection, devient, au moins partiellement, un granulat essentiellement a structure granulaire fine et se distribuant en forme d"eventail au moins dans une partie de la region comprise entre l"angle oppose et l"angle de rencontre. Le dispositif comprend une paroi d"impact (4) placee sur le chemin de la coulee de scories liquide (2) et un ruban (16) travaillant comme installation d"acceleration de jet.
